Other Possible Titles

My work was selected for the upcoming exhibition Other Possible Titles, opening this Friday November 4th at the Grizzly Grizzly Gallery. I’m one a half-day away from work drop-off, and I’m still not sure what I want to show. Yikes. Anyways, viewers are welcome to vote for their favorite piece, and that artist will receive a solo exhibition in the 2012 season. So be sure to stop by, look around, and vote for that which floats your boat!

Philly Works

Coming up this October 2011, I will be part of an exhibition kicking off a year-long collaboration with past & current participants of Philly Works charged with creating a new work around the theme of “Philadelphia Qualities of Life.” Godspeed, indeed.
Philly Works is comprised of a growing number of fantastically skilled creative folk from the Philadelphia region, and is currently coordinated by Alexandra Schmidt-Ullrich and Will McHale.

I recently wrote a story for a great little website called ArtJaw that collects first person accounts from the Philadelphia art scene. Read it below!

BFFF Website

The website documenting my most recent performance, My Best Friend Facebook Forever, is finally complete! Some highlights on the site are messages sent to me over the course of the performance that were previously private, photos from the gallery installation, and a concluding essay by project researcher James Weissinger.

Please check it out here: http://mybfff.com.

BFFF in the World

A roundup of articles written about My Best Friend Facebook Forever…

On newsworks.org, written by Peter Crimmins.

And on the Onion A.V. Club Philadelphia, written by Joe Poteracki.

And a little ditty on Fox 29 News with Claudia Gomez. Please note the text they captioned me with.
We’re almost done with the performance-experiment… a special thanx to my health, my bike and my girlfriend. Will be in touch soon!
